Observation on data availability/gaps

NASA Earth Exchange Global Daily Downscaled Projections (NEX-GDDP-CMIP6) provides 0.25-degree historical daily-averaged data for maximum temperature, minimum temperature, precipitation, near-surface humidity, downwell shortwave/longwave radiation, and near-surface wind speed from 1960 to 2014 (“retrospective simulation”) and from 2015 to 2100 (“prospective simulation”). Users are encouraged to review the technote, provided alongside the data set, where more detailed information, references and acknowledgements can be found: https://www.nccs.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/NEX-GDDP-CMIP6-Tech_Note_4.pdf
